- Verify the rake, wagons, and number of bags according to the RR, identifying the wagons. Verify the integrity of the wagon seals, and the state of the doors, and keep an eye out for seal breakage and door opening.
- Examine any unusual cargo conditions, such as damage, cleanliness, infestation, remains, stains or rust, damp or dry conditions, offensive odours, contamination, etc. when the doors are opened.
- Check the capacity, exterior condition, and dunnage type of the wagons. checking for correct stowage in trucks and proper discharge onto platforms.
- Check the condition of the goods and the bags for tears and stacks, make a note of the weather during transport, and record the quantity of cargo emptied each wagon and overall rake.
- Verify that wagons are entirely unloaded, sweeps are gathered, spillages are estimated, and sweeps are not left on the platform.
- Cross check and verify the total weight/bags unloaded per all rake wagons and compare the number of bags to RR numbers.
Carting Supervision
A team that receives and handles packages and other products is managed and directed by a carting supervisor. The operations in their department are coordinated and supported by receiving supervisors. They choose how the items will be unloaded, gathered, stored, and distributed. Their responsibility includes instructing staff members on how to handle, organize, and maintain stock and related issues. They evaluate reports and respond to problems with quality. Additionally, they define work processes, speed up workflow, and plan their workday.
- Checking the trucks for cleanliness and fitness to convey cargo, looking over the lot for markings, packing, and condition, and inspecting the platform's cleanliness if goods are being stacked on it.
- Ensure appropriate dunnage is in place in the truck or on the platform while you supervise loading the bags.
- Check the correct stacking and sealing of the bags, and count the bags as necessary. Send out a challenge, keep track of the trucks that are hauling the whole 9number of bags, and demand that the cargo in the trucks and the stack on the platform be covered with tarpaulin.
- Note the specifics for each wagon and the overall rake.
Weighment Supervision
The weigh scale supervisor will weigh incoming and departing cars on a computerized scale while recording data pertinent to each truck, such as the type of truck, plates, and driver. Record the data accurately for invoicing purposes and conduct routine audits to guarantee proper billing.
- Every 24 hours, the designated weighbridge is subjected to calibration checks to ensure accuracy and proper operation. cross-referencing with a different weighbridge.
- Inspecting the loaded truck's gross weight.
- Check the truck weights after unloading, make sure the equipment hasn't changed, and make sure the trucks are positioned correctly on the weighbridge.
- examining the carting challan slip, examining the cargo's condition and seal in the truck, noting truck weighment information, issuing a challan, and recording the net.
- Check the truck weights when they are loaded.
Supervision of Goods’ Receipt at Nominated Warehouse
The receipt of goods is one of the most essential in-warehouse operations, as it kicks off the flow of materials. If poorly managed, it is the starting point for errors that later emerge in your inventory and limit an installation’s productivity. That’s where we step in to help you

- Check the warehouse's dunnage layout, cleanliness, and the sealing and condition of the goods.
- Check for correct warehouse unloading, hook usage, and the presence of slack, tears, or other damage.
- Check the total quantity of bags per truck against the challan and the receipt information.
- Check that all of the cargo has been removed from the trucks, including any sweepings. Calculate any spilled cargo or cargo that cannot be recovered.
- Making reports that include information about wagons, tally details, carting, vehicles, weighing, and cargo inspection.
If the client requests the analysis of the physical parameters listed below, it may be performed at the delivery location or warehouse, depending on the request. To determine the quality of the cargo, the following factors are examined:
